What alternative tracks do you want played at your party, event or wedding??

Last week, I DJ'd Bathurst High Campus' Year 12 Graduation. I had already been requested some Blink 182 and New Found Glory (cheering!). But when a student showed me one of my fave tracks by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy I said aight BET.

A track like that isn't gonna get the whole room pumping, but it had been pumped up for a while and people were getting tired. I sidestepped into some Pop Punk and that's when I played RATATATA.

There were a few understandably confused faces but man, imagine! This would have been like a DJ playing BMTH at my grad. You'd never think they'd do it but it's special when they do!

Follow to watch my dj journey from all the highs to all the f**k ups. The good thing is I can be real enough to post the f**k ups and laugh about it 😂

The good thing about mistakes like this is that I only make it once. That's why I make these reels and why I share myself in this way.

Partly it's to connect with clients who are after what I actually enjoy playing. Partly it's to grow so people actually know who I am but a large part of it is practice.

Music is something deeply important and personal to me and I'm serious about being able to share my unique tastes and style with people. I am always looking to up skill and learn more and moments like this are perfect for it. There are so many great DJs out there, technically way better than me but they aren't me. They don't have the same relationship to music I have in the sense that we are all different.

So, I want potential clients to see this! Know that I am always going to bring the energy and that I am serious about music and that I'm not trying to be the best DJ in town. I'm just hoping to be the right DJ for you.

Anyway, today's word vomit is courtesy of a DIY mudslide and if you know what that is, I'll probably be a great DJ for you. Emo, metal head, pop-punk Alt couples please let me DJ your wedding

Happy public holiday to New South Welshman (also ACT and SA). Today is Labour Day! I know it's just another public holiday to most but it's one of the cooler public holidays around.

One of the earliest trade union movements in Australia saw the implementation of the 8 hour work day. 8 hours for work, 8 hours for recreation and 8 hours for rest.

Make sure you're a part of your union because now more than ever, our rights need to be secured ✊
