I think I’ve spent a lot of motherhood trying to prove I was doing a good job.
Not consciously. But through all the little things I thought I should be doing.
And the older I get, the more I question that.
Because I’m not interested in creating a life that looks impressive from the outside but leaves me completely depleted on the inside.
I’m much more interested in figuring out what actually matters to me — and what I can let go of.
Maybe that’s what this next chapter of motherhood looks like for me.
Less proving.
More living.
And I have a feeling I’m not the only one who needs this reminder 🤍
