If you haven’t heard us rave about it before, we love our Big Oz Black Garlic Salt. It’s one of those staples we never travel without. Whether we’re cooking up something simple at camp or adding a little flair to a special meal, this stuff just levels up everything.

The best part? It’s actually our very own salt, created in collaboration with the legends at The 5th Season and we reckon they’ve absolutely nailed it. That rich black garlic flavour with the perfect balance of salt… honestly, it’s addictive.

We always get asked what seasoning we’re using in our cooking, and now you know. Proud as punch to have our name on something we use and love daily. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!

We honestly feel so lucky to live the life we do. It’s not always smooth sailing, but we’ve never been ones to shy away from a challenge. In fact, we thrive on it.

Tackling big ideas, taking risks, learning as we go.. that’s always been part of who we are. We’ve never waited for things to be “just right” before giving something a crack. We’ve always been go-getters, and no matter what is thrown our way, we always find a way forward. 💪🏼

That said, we are gearing up for a new challenge this year. With certain restrictions around what we can achieve on the property, a change is on the horizon once again. Whatever comes next, we’ll face it head on, together.

Strong, stubborn, and full of heart 💪🏼 here’s to the next chapter!

We were recommended to check out Cowley Beach Caravan Park for a night and we’re so glad we did. What an absolute gem of a spot!

It’s a peaceful little park with some incredible oceanfront sites and you’re only a short stroll from the sand. The view is unreal, right out to the islands on the horizon. The campsites themselves are a good size too, which makes setting up that much easier. Plus it’s also dog friendly, which is always a bonus when you’re travelling with your four-legged friend.

We loved how relaxed and low key it felt, but still had all the essentials like power sites, a clean amenities block, showers and a camp kitchen.

If you’re passing through the area, definitely worth a stopover. We’ll be keeping this one on our list for next time!

We’ve been keeping this one under wraps… but it’s time to spill the beans!

We’ve officially teamed up with Insta360 and couldn’t be more pumped! Being able to partner with a brand that’s all about capturing life’s epic moments in the most creative ways is a huge privilege and just in time for our Cape York trip too.

From the dusty tracks to the remote beaches and everything in between, we’ll be bringing you along for the ride! With fresh perspectives and all the action thanks to some seriously cool gear.

We had an awesome weekend camped up on the property, taking in everything we’ve poured our hearts into building. No rush, no stress just slow starts to the day, a roaring fire, and great company by our side.

A real highlight was the food! One day we whipped up a classic damper in the camp oven, and the next we slow-cooked a juicy pork roast on our trusty Ziggy. Between the fire and the barbecue, the smells were next level.

Also it was so good to be back in the caravan again. There’s just something about that way of living that we just can’t get enough of. With Cape York just around the corner, we honestly can’t wait for more weekends like this.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Watching you be a mum to Jayda and Jack is something special. The way you love, protect, teach and laugh with them… it’s something that can’t be put into words, but we’ll try. You’re the glue that holds us all together, the soft place to land, the wild adventurer, and the calm in the chaos.

As a partner, you back me and this life we’ve chosen every single day. You’ve taken on every challenge with strength and grace, even when it’s been tough. You’ve given up comfort to create something meaningful, and we see that, we feel that every day 🩵
