Orientation Day at Leaders Institute - Australia: A Call to Dream Big

Australia, June 2025 — At the Leaders Institute – Australia, the first day of a student’s academic journey isn’t just an introduction to the campus — it’s an invitation to transformation.

Orientation Day at this innovative higher education provider begins with a simple yet powerful challenge: Dream Big.

From that very moment, students are not only welcomed — they are empowered. Every step forward is supported by a dedicated team of mentors, educators, and leaders committed to nurturing ambition and instilling a sense of purpose.

“Success here is not measured just by grades or jobs,” says Professor Bernard Malik, President of Leaders Institute. “It is defined by values — by the impact our students make in their communities and the integrity with which they lead.”

This commitment to value-based success sets the Leaders Institute apart in the Australian education landscape. As the only provider offering Australia’s exclusive MBA in Agribusiness alongside globally relevant programs in business, leadership, and innovation, the Institute fosters an environment where students are encouraged to think beyond qualifications and focus on contribution.

Orientation Day features motivational sessions, student engagement activities, peer networking, and strategic goal-setting — all designed to spark passion and purpose. Students leave the first day not only feeling part of a vibrant academic community but also equipped with the mindset to lead with courage and character.

As one student reflected, “The moment I walked in, I felt like I was being trained not just for a career, but for a calling.”

For international and local students alike, the message is clear: At Leaders Institute, your journey begins with belief — and ends with bold leadership.

🎖️ HONOURING A KNIGHT: SIR BERNARD MALIK COMMEMORATES KNIGHTHOOD ANNIVERSARY

Sydney, 25 June – It was a moment of honour and reflection today as renowned humanitarian and educationist, Sir Bernard Malik, marked the anniversary of a milestone in his life — his knighthood conferred by the Order of the Knights of Rizal in a distinguished ceremony held in Sydney on 25 June 2022.

The knighthood, rooted in the enduring legacy of Philippine national hero Dr. José Rizal, is bestowed on individuals who embody the values of truth, justice, service, and love for humanity. For Sir Bernard, the title is more than ceremonial — it is a lifelong commitment.

“To be called Sir Bernard Malik is humbling,” he shared, “but what matters more is the responsibility — to stand for the voiceless, to educate the forgotten, to build bridges between communities, and to serve with dignity and compassion.”

A passionate advocate for the underprivileged, Sir Bernard dedicates this honour to the many lives he’s had the privilege to touch — from orphaned children and struggling students, to persecuted communities and the elderly forgotten by society.

“This recognition belongs to them — the broken-hearted dreamer, the child needing a chance, the elder longing for respect. I am only a vessel.”

Sir Bernard also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Order of the Knights of Rizal, reaffirming his pledge to live by their values and continue his mission of service with unwavering integrity and purpose.
