7 weeks postpartum and I’m finally entering my “okay, let me care about myself a little too” phase💕

ডেলিভারি থেকে শুরু করে এখন পর্যন্ত লাইফ কোনদিক দিয়ে যাচ্ছে, সাল কি তারিখ, বছর কি মাস সেসব বুঝতে পারছিনা। পুরোপুরি survival mode অন। ২ মাস হতে যাচ্ছে survival mode এ আছি, এতদিন পর এখন আস্তে আস্তে এই নতুন রুটিনে অগত্যা নিজেকে অভ্যস্ত করে ফেলছি মনে হচ্ছে কিছুটা।এখন ব্রেইনও বুঝে গেছে ঘুম না হোক, খাওয়া না হোক, গোসল না হোক, কিচ্ছু না হোক এটাই নরমাল, এভাবেই বাঁচতে হবে। তাই এখন একটু একটু করে মাইন্ড রিল্যক্স হচ্ছে। একটু সেলফ কেয়ার করতে ইচ্ছা করছে। আয়নায় চোখ পড়লে নিজেকে গুহামানবের মত দেখালে নিজেকে সুন্দর লাগানোর জন্য একটু লিপ টিন্ট, চিক টিন্ট লাগাতে ইচ্ছা করছে। কয়েকদিন ধরে মনে হচ্ছিলো সবকিছু একঘেয়ে হয়ে যাচ্ছে নিজেকে একটু ট্রিট দেয়া দরকার, একটু প্যম্পার করা দরকার and at this moment I absolutely deserve that. তাই নতুন নতুন সেল্ফকেয়ার আইটেম অর্ডার করে পকেট ফাকা করে ফেলেছি। এখন শান্তি লাগছে অনেকটা 😇😇
লাইফের এরকম সিচুয়েশনে সামান্য কিছু সেলফকেয়ার আইটেম কিনে যে এতখানি mental satisfaction ফিল হচ্ছে সেটা লিখে প্রকাশ করতে পারবোনা। It felt like therapy ✨

প্রথম লাইনে যেটা বলতে হয় "ইউজ করার পর কোনো নিউ ব্রেকআউট হয় না" which is the main thing for oily to combination, acne prone, Comedone-prone , sensitive to everything skin I know 🫶 and the hydration level is just next level.
স্কিন একদম সঙ্গে সঙ্গে plump, soft, and deeply moisturized feel হয় without any greasy or heavy feeling. এটা খুব সুন্দরভাবে স্কিনে মিশে যায় এবং একটা হেলদি, ডিউই গ্লো দেয় যেটা ড্রাই স্কিনে আরো ভালো লাগবে।

I finished 2 bottles when I was in Bangladesh — one in 2022–2023 and another in 2024. After coming to Australia, I bought it again, but it got lost behind all my other skincare for a long time… and now I found it’s expired 😐

At the moment, everyone is focusing a lot on milky toners, serums, and hydration-based skincare. Now let’s talk about this one.

The first thing I have to say — “it doesn’t cause new breakouts after using,” which is the main thing for oily to combination, acne-prone, comedone-prone, and sensitive-to-everything skin — I know 🫶
And the hydration level is just next level.

The skin feels instantly plump, soft, and deeply moisturized without any greasy or heavy feeling. It absorbs beautifully and gives a healthy, dewy glow — which looks even better on dry skin.

সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় বেশ পরিচিত একজন দেখলাম পোস্ট করেছেন "having baby is overrated" or something like that. ওভাররেটেড লাগছে কারণ উনি ওই মুহূর্তে ইনডিউসড এবং এক্টিভ লেবারে আছেন ৯ ঘন্টা ধরে। পোস্টটা দেখার সময় ব্যস্ত ছিলাম এজন্য পোস্টটা সামনে থেকে হারিয়ে গেছে। কমেন্টে করার ইচ্ছা ছিলো কিন্তু আর খুঁজে পাইনি। নিজের কথা মনে পড়ে গেলো। আমার ৫৫-৫৬ ঘন্টার লেবার পেইনের কথা বাদই দিলাম। পেইন শুরুর ৪৮ ঘন্টা পরেও হসপিটাল থেকে আমাকে বলা হয়েছিলো বাড়ি যেয়ে বসে থাকো এখনও যেহেতু কথা বলতে পারছো সেহেতু এটা কোনো ব্যথাই না। যখন আর কথা বলতে পারবা না তখন আসবা। অথচ ওই সময় আমার জীবন মরন লেভেলের পেইন। মনে হচ্ছিলো ওরা ভুল বলছে এরচেয়ে বেশি পেইন হওয়া সম্ভবই না এটাই হয়তো সর্বোচ্চ। বাড়ি এসে সারাদিন সারারাত যেই পেইন হয়েছে পুরো এলাকা হয়তো জেনে গেছিলো that someone is in labour 😶
সত্যিই পরেরদিন ভোর হতে হতে পেইন এমন পর্যায়ে চলে গেলো আর কিসের কথা বলা কিসের দুনিয়া কিসের কি। পৃথিবী বলে কিছু আছে সেটাই ভুলে গেলাম। কথা বলা তো দূরে থাক নিশ্বাস নেয়ার কথাও মনে থাকছিলোনা। মনে হচ্ছিলো আজরাইল এসে জানালার কাছেই দাড়ায়ে আছে। ওই মুহুর্তে পৃথিবীতে আমি আর আমার পেইন ছাড়া পৃথিবীতে আর কোনো মানুষ বা কিছু আছে মনে ছিলোনা। ফেইসবুক তো দূরে থাক। মনে মনে মাফ চাওয়া, তওবা পড়া সব হয়ে গেছিলো। একসময় ধরেই নিয়েছিলাম হয়তো পরেরবার নিশ্বাস নেয়ার আগেই মরে যাবো। কিন্তু সিনেমায় দেখানো দৃশ্যের মত when I first saw his little face, my brain just erased everything.
আপনারা কেও ওই আপুকে চিনলে পেইজের নামটা আমাকে জানাইয়েন। আমার জানতে ইচ্ছা করছে বাচ্চাটা হওয়ার পরও ওনার ওভাররেটেড মনে হয় কিনা।

অবশেষে এরকম একটা Vitamin C serum খুঁজে পেয়েছি যেটা আমাকে একদমই new break out দেয় নি 😭✨

আমার স্কিন Oily to combination, acne-prone, এবং super sensitive। Vitamin C কখনোই আমার স্কিনে suit করত না — কিন্তু এই Dr. Althea Vitamin C সত্যিই একটা game changer।

✔️ কোনো breakouts দেয় না
✔️ পোরস ক্লগ করে না
✔️ একদম lightweight
✔️ Actually gentle

দেড় মাসেরও বেশি সময় ধরে ব্যবহার করছি। খুব ভয়ে ভয়ে use করেছি আর ভেবেছি হয়তো স্কিন বাজেভাবে react করবে… কিন্তু একদমই করেনি। It just works.

Using it for more then 1 and a half month now. I kept waiting for my skin to react… but it never did. It just works.
