Pumped for Justice Beyond The Binary
This week Ez (he/him) and Rae (they/them) are in studio catching you up on all the week in community news and events. They were also joined by Bowen (he/they) from the LGBTI Legal Service discussing their latest community resource Justice Beyond the Binary which is a website designed to help Non-Binary people to navigate through life free from discrimination. Whether you’re planning on coming out at work, or taking an issue to the human rights commission. There's also subsections for Discrimination, Identity Documents, Travel, as well as Domestic & Family Violence. Bowen also shared about his incredible local band SOFT CVNTS which has had sold out gigs at Banshees Bar and will be performing at the INBD - International Non-Binary Day Celebration Meanjin/Brisbane 2025 on Saturday, 6th Sep from 2pm - 11pm at Jagera Community Hall. This week Rae White (they/them) and Ez (he/him) are in studio they pay homage to recently passed Poet and American Activist Andrea Gibson sharing some excerpts of their work. Also in this episode Rae interviews AK Mulford (she/they) who is a bestselling fantasy romance author with books published in twelve languages worldwide. Both traditionally and self-published, Mulford loves writing adventurous and feel-good tales with and diverse characters. They also write cozy and spicy romantic comedies under the pen name Ali K. Mulford. A US and NZ citizen, A.K. now lives in sunny Australia with their partner, kids, trouble-maker cats, and a very patient dog.

Diving into their DIY Tranz Punk process, shower thoughts, influences, and their upcoming gig at the Magandjin People's Pride at the Jagera Community Hall July 19. The team also covers the upcoming Open Doors Youth Service Inc.
