I am sharing a glimpse of my Sri Lankan heritage and culture. I captured this footage during my visit to Sri Lanka in April this year. It was my first trip back in five years, and although so much has changed, the traditions, religion, and cultural essence remain beautifully preserved.
Asian elephants are among the most majestic creatures on Earth and have been deeply rooted in Sri Lankan culture since ancient times. They are incredibly intelligent and graceful, yet sadly, many face cruelty and mistreatment. While I’m proud that elephants hold a sacred place in our traditions, it breaks my heart to see the way some are treated. These gentle giants are wild animals that naturally live in herds, and isolation can cause them great emotional distress—much like humans.
Today, Asian elephants are considered endangered due to habitat loss and fragmentation. We can all make a difference by supporting organizations that work to protect them from illegal activities and cruelty through donations or volunteering.

The easiest way to clean and sanitise your makeup brushes in between applications is to use a good old australia face towel and 100% Isopropyl Alcohol in a spray bottle.
I use a lot of waterproof liquid shadow and other makeup that will take a long time to clean with the traditional method of soap and water. I use this method to clean and sanitise between each makeup application to keep my brushes from not running out. I still use the traditional method once a month, just to thoroughly give a good rinse to the brushes. I have had some of my brushes for over 15 years. Never have I had any problems with using Iso to clean the brushes ever.

Clean girl base routine is my favourite for most days. I love my skin so much that I hate covering it up with products. Even on a glam day, I will use fewer products than other people. The feeling of a lot of makeup on my skin makes me very uncomfortable now.
