What a morning. The energy of seeing the community running alongside Nedd Brockmann and the I.AM.Kind team was incredible, but the reason we were all there was even more powerful.

Everyone who showed up were running for to raise funds for , an organisation on a mission to end homelessness.

The stats are confronting. Nationally, over 122,000 people are experiencing homelessness. And in Moreton Bay, where the .mvmnt team is located, the crisis is escalating. Referrals for people sleeping rough have jumped by 250% in just two years.

It’s why Nedd’s ongoing commitment is so vital. We’re cheering him on as he continues to raise funds with his ‘Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge,’ building on the incredible multi-million dollar legacy he has already created. A huge congratulations to him for ticking over the $1M mark yesterday. What a champion.

But this morning wasn’t about the darkness of those numbers. It was about the light of the community’s response. Seeing so many people show up proved that we are not okay with this reality.

This is the ripple effect. It starts with a run, but it builds into a wave of awareness, vital funds, and a powerful statement that in this community, we look after each other.

At the start of this year, one of our goals was to make an impact on our community by giving back, which we’ve done lots of this year, but this one was special. The legends at .mvmnt have been raising funds for through and what a morning to be a part of! The community came together to celebrate each other, go for a trot, meet Nedd and hang out with awesome people. The impact that these events are having is tangible and we couldn’t be prouder to partner with Em & Ell to help tell the story of their efforts.
