Wednesday just got a serious upgrade. This is a share sized plate of beef nachos stacked with corn chips, guacamole, queso, sour cream and salsa, landing on the table next to a one and a half litre tower of margaritas. One price, one big feed, and enough to keep a whole table happy.

Paninni’s is a cosy Italian restaurant on Carrara Street, Mt Gravatt East, serving authentic Italian food, handmade pasta and gourmet woodfired pizzas. 🔥

The pizzas use a 48 hour fermented dough, cooked in a traditional pizza oven over ironbark wood, with toppings ranging from classic Margherita and mushroom Funghi to the 3 Little Pigs and Paninni’s signature pizza with triple smoked ham, truffle sauce, mushrooms and crumbled halloumi. 🍝🍕

The menu also features Fried Green Olives, Buffalo Caprese, Polpette, Spaghetti Bolognese, Fettuccini Carbonara, pan fried gnocchi and creamy Penne con Pollo.

Save room for Nutella Tiramisu, Pineapple Tarte Tatin or Bombolini filled with Nutella and served with vanilla ice cream and strawberries. 🍨

Paninni’s is fully licensed, with a cocktail and wh**ky bar plus a curated selection of Australian and Italian wines.

[ EVENT ] THIS FARM LETS YOU PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES AND PILE YOUR BOX HIGH 🍓

Oasis Berries is opening its fields for Pick Your Own Strawberry season from 19 September to 5 October 2026. The farm has more than 2 million plants, so running out isn’t a worry; when one patch gets picked over, pickers simply move to a different field. It’s a $40 box with no time limit and no weighing, which makes it one of the easiest spring day trips you can do just north of Brisbane.

THE $40 PICK YOUR OWN BOX

🍓 No time limit: stay as long as you like, nothing gets weighed, and you can fill your box as high as it will go.
🎟️ The box: $40 covers one box and 5 entries into the picking fields, and you’re allowed to eat strawberries while you pick.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Extra people: $5 each, or buy another box for another 5 entries.
🪣 Picking buckets: an optional $10 add on with the purchase of a $40 box.

WHAT ELSE IS ON

🍦 The strawberry treats: strawberry ice cream, strawberry slushies, strawberry cupcakes and a Jiggly Capybara.
🍵 More to eat and drink: matcha, hot food and new strawberry treats and food items added to the menu.
🦛 The Hippo Treasure Hunt: 3 hippos are hidden around the farm, with a $250 cash prize up for grabs.
⛱️ More room to relax: extra seating and shade have been added around the farm this year.

GOOD TO KNOW

🎟️ No bookings required, just turn up during opening hours.
🐶 Dogs are welcome on a lead around the farm, but they can’t enter the picking fields due to food hygiene requirements.

Little Red Dumpling is a funky dumpling bar at South Square, Woolloongabba, serving authentic Chinese jiaozi alongside a menu of tasty street food favourites.

Choose from steamed or fried dumplings filled with Szechuan pork, lamb and coriander, chicken and cabbage, pork and chives, chicken and prawn, or try the rainbow dumplings featuring five flavours. There’s also pork or prawn Xiao Long Bao, pan fried dumplings, wontons and spicy noodle soup. 🍜

Beyond dumplings, expect fried chicken bao, pork chive or shallot pancakes, BBQ pork buns, cumin lamb ribs, noodles and braised beef or lamb served with rice. 🍖🍗🍤

Momo Chicken is a popular Korean fried chicken restaurant with locations in the city and Newmarket Village, serving up crispy chicken, Korean comfort food and plenty of sides.

The menu stars fried chicken boards and whole, half or boneless chicken, including the Boneless Three Set with three different flavours. You can also try Momo Bao Buns, chicken burgers, beef bulgogi, kimchi fried rice and bibimbap. 🍔🍗

For something extra, there’s Volcano Chicken with chicken thigh, onion and rice cakes, plus Momo’s signature hot chicken feet. 🌋

Don’t skip the sides, including corn cheese, Korean style cheese fondue, loaded fries and mini Korean Bento. Finish with sweet Korean pancake or Oreo or mango bingsu.

3Bros Korean Bistro on King Street brings authentic Korean street food to Brisbane, with indoor and outdoor dining.

Started by three brothers in Seoul in 1980, the eatery has grown to more than 40 locations across South Korea, with kimbap as its specialty. Choose from fillings including fried tofu, tuna, marinated burdock, spicy fishcake, cheese and avocado.

The menu also features Korean favourites including bibimbap with beef bulgogi or spicy pork, kimchi fried rice and topokki, served with either spicy red sauce or creamy rose sauce.

Longwang is a Hong Kong inspired restaurant and bar on Edward Street, packed into a three metre wide, multi level converted laneway space with dining nooks, two bars, private dining and garden terraces.

Led by Executive Chef Jason Margaritis, the modern Asian menu puts seafood front and centre, with highlights including oysters with spiced coconut vinegar, tuna with nahm jim, pork and prawn wontons, chicken bao, Wagyu dumplings and crispy eggplant. 🦪🥟

Mains include tea smoked duck, Westholme Wagyu, lamb shoulder Massaman curry with roti, plus local mud crabs and Tasmanian rock lobsters from the live seafood tank. 🦀🦞

There are also wok tossed seafood dishes, desserts including pandan kaya toast, deep fried ice cream and mango pudding, and two banquet options, Jade and Dragon, for groups of two or more.

Miss Chilli Hotpot is a traditional Chinese hotpot restaurant on Milton’s Park Road, serving a fiery Chongqing style experience that is best suited to adventurous diners. 🍲

The spacious dining room features modern Chinese lanterns and orange leather booths, with tables of different sizes for groups. 🏮
