Have you envisioned yourself editing audio and unpacking exclusive stories behind a microphone for a living?

Or are you eager to build up your journalistic strengths to become a well-known and trusted television reporter?

We have put together a broadcast workshop and panel at 4ZZZ Radio to give you a taste of the industry and allow you to connect with reporters and producers across TV, radio, and digital platforms.

Following the panel, QUTJN and QUT Glass will invite you to make some zines over some light refreshments.

When: 9th of October 10am
Where: 4ZZZ Radio station, 246 Barry Parade Fortitude Valley
Ticket prices: one $5 QUTJN 2025 membership card. It will last for a year, and provide exclusive prices to future events.

Okay, maybe not the world, but the deadline definitely is. Submissions for our Annual Edition are still OPEN, but not for long… they officially close at midnight, 28 September. 🕛✨

So send us that poem lurking in your Google Drive, the photo lost in your camera roll, or the essay you swore you’d finish “one day.” The end is near, and we want your words and images with us when it comes.
