Join our family of 7 on our Adventures Im Maali & I'm a cake decorator by trade & Evan works FIFO, we have 5 kids, that’s right I said 5.

We SOLD our home and everything we own a beside my dining table, but that’s another story. Our family desperately needed change, spontaneity, life, love & adventure! So here we are changing our life, making it our own. It was time to stop, slow down and just breathe. As a family we are seeking fun, happiness, laughter, love and simple life. We have no plans & just roll with whatever comes our way.

Just the hum of nature, the crunch of gravel beneath our feet, and the kind of peace you can’t buy.

It’s nights like these that remind us exactly why we chose this road, for freedom, for connection, and for moments just like this.

I can hardly believe this day has finally come. Yesterday marked such a beautiful milestone for my amazing daughter, A’ishah. Watching you walk across that stage at your Year 12 graduation filled my heart with so much pride and joy.

It feels like just yesterday you were taking your first steps, and now here you are, ready to take on the next chapter of your life. I've seen you grow into a strong, resilient, and compassionate young woman. Through every challenge, you've faced it all with determination and grace.

A’ishah, this is only the beginning. I know your future is bright, and I can’t wait to see where your dreams take you next. You’ve already made me so incredibly proud, and I know you’ll continue to accomplish great things.

When Aishah surprised me with flowers, it was a heartfelt reminder of how much she loves and appreciates me. Moments like these make my heart swell with joy and gratitude.

As I watched our daughter, Aishah, prepare for her school ball, I felt overwhelming pride. She looked breathtakingly beautiful, a true reflection of her hard work and determination throughout her school years. This special night celebrates not just her academic achievements, but also the remarkable young woman she has become.

Giving thanks this morning to all our service men and women past and present for your sacrifice to make our country what it is today.
Thank you for your lives given, blood sweat and tears.
Too often people take what we have for granted.
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.

A huge happy 12 birthday to our youngest daughter.
Even though we weren’t able to do much due to surgery, she was over the moon to be able to have her dad home and be able to spend that time with him, because normally he was away at work.

Only a couple more days til surgery for me so taking time out with Maali to watch Azaan and his swimming lessons was worth it.

Take time out to enjoy the simple things!
We are truly blessed to live in a beautiful place.
