Things are happening over on TikTok 😂🇲🇼🇸🇱 — but amongst the laughs, we’re also having some important conversations. ❤️

Someone commented that they couldn’t go to Sierra Leone because there is still a war. Sierra Leone’s civil war actually ended in 2002 — more than 20 years ago — but misconceptions like this still exist.

And this is exactly why Malawi Meets Salone has become more than just jokes and language practice for me. It’s an opportunity for us to learn about each other, from each other. 🇲🇼🤝🏾🇸🇱

Join us for the next Malawi Meets Salone LIVE as we keep the conversation going! ❤️

Sierra Leoneans and Malawians living in Salone — keep sharing your experiences in the comments too.

A little celebration because I actually did it. 🥹💜

30 days of showing up consistently online.

Not perfectly. I didn’t always post the challenge prompts on the exact day 😂 but I went back, caught up and completed all 30/30.

And I didn’t just post the challenge content. I created 20+ additional TikToks from conversations happening in my comments, started new content series, went LIVE for the first time, and kept following where my audience was leading me.

I’ve seen growth across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, but TikTok has been WILD.

Around 80 followers on 11 August → over 8,000 in less than a month. 😭🔥

As a mum of four, running a business, working with clients and juggling normal everyday life, I’m really proud of myself for this one.

Because consistency sounds simple until you actually have to be consistent.

And a BIG shout-out to the father of my children 😂❤️ who supported me every step of the way — taking the kids out, keeping them occupied and giving me the space to record yet another video. 😂 I genuinely couldn’t have shown up the way I did without that support.

So yes, I’m acknowledging this milestone. 🥹

With a bánh mì and Vietnamese iced coffee, obviously. 😂☕️

Here’s to showing up, learning as you go and celebrating the little wins that turn out to be pretty big ones. 💜

30/30. I did it. 🏁

04/09/2026

Why do I exercise so early? 😂

Because at 5am, the house is quiet, four kids are asleep, nobody needs me yet, and I get to do something for myself before the day begins. 💜

It doesn’t have to be complicated — sometimes I just walk.

I spent too many years giving power to words that hurt me.

Now I’m intentional about the words I receive, the words I speak over myself, and especially the words I speak over my children. ❤️

So today I wanted to give some attention to the words that bring life.

To everyone who has encouraged me, prayed for me and spoken life over me — whether in English, Chichewa, Krio or otherwise — I receive it. I say Amen. And I thank God for you. 🥹🙏🏾

May we always be people who speak life into others. ❤️

If you’re raising your kids away from your home country, what part of your culture are you determined to pass down? 🌍💜

For me, it’s the stories. I want my kids to know where we come from, what life was like and the stories their grandparents would have told them — enough that they’ll want to go back and experience it for themselves one day. 🥹

What’s yours — language, food, stories, traditions, faith… something else? 👇🏾

When I have too much in my head, the first thing I need to do is get it OUT. 😂🧠

Sometimes I write it down. Sometimes I type it. Sometimes I use AI to help me brain dump and organise my thoughts.

Then I give everything a home, decide what actually matters, knock out the quick jobs… and let some things WAIT. 🙌🏾

Because everything on my list might need doing eventually — but everything does not need doing today.

The goal isn’t having nothing to do. It’s not having to remember everything I have to do. 💜

What helps you clear the mental load when your brain feels full?

If I had to start my work-from-home business again from ZERO, I’d do a few things very differently. 👀💻

And I’m not talking about applying for a remote employee role — I mean building your own service-based business as a VA, freelancer, contractor, consultant… whatever you decide to call yourself. 😂

I’d spend WAY less time trying to look like I had a business and more time learning how to solve real problems for real clients.

Start with the skills you already have.
Find people who need them.
Learn as you go.
Set your boundaries early.

Build systems before you desperately need them. 😂
Then do good work, learn, adjust and keep building. 💜

Sometimes what you’re searching for somewhere else is already in the room. 👀💜

I first heard Apostle Joshua Selman teach about the danger of familiarity years ago, and later heard my own pastor, Pastor Theo Ajadi teach on it too. 🙏🏾

It’s one of those teachings that has stayed with me and made me reflect on how easily we can become so used to someone — their knowledge, wisdom, gifts or experience — that we stop recognising the value of what they carry.

I’ve caught myself doing it too. 😂

Something being close, easily accessible or even free doesn’t make it less valuable.

Don’t let familiarity make you overlook value. 💜

Have you ever caught yourself doing this?

Apparently being 33 doesn’t mean you finally know what you want to be when you grow up. 😂

I used to think that by this age I’d have one clear career, one direction and one simple answer when someone asked, “What do you do?”

I don’t. 😂

I’m interested in too many things, I’m still learning, still changing and still discovering what different seasons of my life might look like.

And I’m becoming much more comfortable with that. 💜

Maybe figuring it out as you go IS part of growing up.

Please tell me I’m not the only grown adult who still doesn’t know what they want to be when they grow up? 😂👇🏾

I’ve spent years helping businesses build their brands and working behind the scenes, but I’ve never really put the same focus into building my own personal brand.

I’ve always just been more focused on doing the work. 😂

This challenge has given me something I really needed — structure, accountability and a reason to consistently show up for myself too.

And one of the biggest things I’ve realised through it is… I am enough.

I have a story to tell. I have experiences worth sharing. And there are people who are interested in connecting with me — not only the work I can do for somebody else.

We’re now 24 days into the challenge and, despite everything else happening in life, I’ve shown up and created every single day. And somehow I’ve actually created MORE than the challenge required. 😂

A couple of my TikTok videos took off, people started asking questions in the comments, and suddenly the content started writing itself. One question becomes another video, which creates another conversation, which gives me another idea. 🔥

I’ve always believed in creating more than consuming, but this challenge has really pushed me to live that out consistently.

So grateful to Nancy for creating this challenge and community, and for the accountability and encouragement that has come with it. Seeing my little updates included in her Reel made me emotional. 🥹💜

And if you’re sitting on the sidelines waiting for the perfect time to start something you’ve been thinking about…

Start now.

Find people already doing what you want to do. Find a community. Put yourself in rooms where people are moving in the direction you want to go.

The support, encouragement and accountability can make a world of difference.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes you just need to start creating, start showing up, and let the next step reveal itself. 💜
