137kg. Read the caption trust me..
That’s more weight than some people will ever carry in their lifetime.
For the last two years, I’ve done everything I possibly could to change my life. I’ve shown up when I didn’t want to. I’ve learnt how to eat again. I’ve worked on my mindset. I’ve pushed through days where giving up would’ve been easier.
And today, I’m 137kg lighter.
But this is the part of the journey nobody really talks about.
The loose skin isn’t just cosmetic.
It’s heavy.
It’s uncomfortable.
It pulls on my body every day.
It still limits what I can do.
And mentally… some days it feels heavier than the 137kg I lost.
People tell me, “You should be proud.”
I am.
But I also still struggle every single day.
I’ve explored every option I can. I’m not eligible through the public system. I don’t have enough in my super. I can’t get approved for finance.
So this is me asking for help.
I’ve created a GoFundMe because I genuinely can’t do this alone. If you’ve followed my journey, supported me, or if my story has ever inspired you, I’m asking if you’d consider donating. Even $1 genuinely makes a difference. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing my fundraiser could help it reach someone who can.
I want to finish the journey we’ve all been on together. I want you to see the final chapter just as much as you’ve seen every chapter before it.
Thank you to ADAM SULLIVAN (ebt) for believing in me since 2024, and thank you to every single one of you who has followed, commented, shared, and supported me along the way. I wouldn’t be here without this community.
If you’d like to help me change my life one last time, the GoFundMe link is in my bio.
Love,
Jess 🫶
