NIUE P**E FAKAMOTU ACROSS AUSTRALIA 🇳🇺

Miss Niue Australia is proud to promote Niue P**e Fakamotu celebrations taking place across Australia, beginning with the QLD Niue Community’s 52nd celebration.

📅 Saturday, 17 October 2026
📍 YMCA — 10B Mannington Road, Acacia Ridge
⏰ Formalities commence at 9:00am

The day will include village marching in village colours, cultural sports, stalls, Koli and Lologo Niue cultural performances, and an opportunity for our community to come together in celebration.

Registrations for stalls and cultural performance groups close on 3 October 2026. Please refer to the official flyer for contact details.

Jointly organised by QNUC, NACQ and NNC.

We’ll also be sharing the P**e Fakamotu celebrations taking place in Victoria and New South Wales. 🇳🇺

Let us come together to honour our history, celebrate our culture and carry our Niuean identity forward with pride. 🇳🇺❤️

A wonderful recognition of Lyn’s commitment to guiding, supporting and empowering young women through pageantry.

From Niue’s reefs to the global stage Peau Pendants Niue is officially a 2026 Global Recognition Award winner for Innovation! 🏆🌊✨️

Through our online presence and the growing reach of our story, Peau Pendants Niue was selected as a nominee for the Global Recognition Awards (GRA) and progressed through a highly competitive international evaluation process.

Of the 15,000 entrees each year, only 5.8% receive recognition. In 2026, around 4% of innovations successfully received an award following evaluation by GRA’s expert judging panel. Peau Pendants Niue was among them. 🇳🇺🏆😊

GRA stated that the Innovation award demonstrates how a project born on one small island can offer lessons for conservation economies everywhere affirming Peau Pendants Niue’s place among innovative conservation-focused companies.
They also shared:
“We are honored to have Peau Pendants Niue among the distinguished 2026 Global Recognition Award recipients. Its achievements exemplify the spirit of excellence that the Global Recognition Awards seek to celebrate.”
