🎙️ Episode #3 – Martin “Marty” Williams: From Air Dispatch to Disability Advocacy

In this episode, Harley sits down with Martin Williams—former Army Air Dispatcher turned NDIS advocate. Marty’s story isn’t loud, but it lands with impact. From loading aircraft in high-pressure zones to helping Australians navigate the complexities of disability support, his journey is one of quiet service, sharp transitions, and deep purpose.

They talk about the camaraderie of dispatch life, the challenges of finding identity post-uniform, and the unexpected ways Marty found meaning in civilian work. It’s a conversation about duty—on the tarmac, in the trenches, and now in the lives of those who need someone in their corner.

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to carry military values into a new mission, this one’s for you.

In this episode of The Grey Man Podcast, we dive into the physical and emotional toll of service—and what it takes to come back from the edge.

🎙️ Episode #1: Duane Mead – The Fall, The Fight, The Fire.

He found himself in a siege with Iranian pirates aboard the MV Shams in the Persian Gulf. He overdosed in Cambodia. Was dishonourably discharged from the Navy.

Duane Mead doesn’t sugar-coat his story—and neither do we.
In this raw, unfiltered debut episode of The Grey Man Podcast, Duane opens up about the chaos, the consequences, and the moments that nearly broke him. It’s not a redemption arc. It’s a reckoning.

🪖 For those who’ve served, stumbled, or stood back up—this one’s for you.
