Jurassic World: Rebirth 🦖🦕🎥 As requested by Samuel 💁‍♂️

Blockbuster movies are back (I guess?). This one was entertaining - plot holes galore if you’re watching with a critical eye, but we came to be entertained… and entertained we were. 👍
😴 Scheduled it around Raphael’s naptime - and it worked! Had to stand a couple of times to hele him in the carrier ‘cause every time the dinos attacked, the Dolby surround gave him a jump scare. 📣🤣

🛋️ We chose the back row in case I needed to step out to respect other moviegoers (didn’t need to - whew!)

🙄 Some teens gave us the look when they saw a baby in tow - probably bracing for crying. I get it, they likely saved up for the ticket. But, like I said… all went smoothly. 🤗

Meanwhile, Lukas had the time of his life in the arcade with Daddy. Divide and conquer muna kami ni Nikko 🫡

Hands full with three young boys, and sometimes my creative head drifts into that “if only I had more time…” spiral. If I had more space, I’d create more, craft more—all these ideas piling up in my brain, but no time to execute.

Then the rare moment comes—when nap times magically align—and suddenly I feel stuck. Creative block hits, not because there are no ideas, but because there are too many, and I don’t know where to begin. Sometimes, I don’t even want to start, knowing I might not finish before someone wakes up.

Lately, I’ve been unlearning the mindset that only finished results matter. I’m slowly embracing the idea that the process—the act of doing and making—has value too.

That’s why I designed and printed this simple reminder for myself: ✨ Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they laid bricks every hour. ✨

I may not be laying bricks every hour, but even the tiniest creative movement counts. The pauses, the restarts, the unfinished attempts—they’re part of the journey, too.

Today, I transferred a small amount of money into my son’s bank account—but it carries a story far bigger than its value. 💙💸

Six years ago, just after he turned one, I self-published a little book called 🐦 Marlon the Little Falcon🐦, inspired by his birth story. I had zero knowledge in publishing, no background in marketing or formatting—but I pressed on anyway. I never got around to selling physical copies, but I released it digitally on Amazon / Kindle.

Life lately has been full—creativity had to step aside for more pressing needs. But today, I received a quiet nudge: an email letting me know that another copy of the book had sold. The payment came through, and without hesitation, I passed it on to Samuel.

The idea that someone out there read the synopsis and resonated enough to purchase it—that thought alone is encouragement. It may not have sold millions, but it reached that person. And that matters deeply to me.

It’s a small transaction in numbers, but a big reminder that seeds planted in faith—even imperfectly—can still bear fruit years later.

✨ You have a voice. You were uniquely designed to create something this world hasn’t seen before. Don’t underestimate the power of even your smallest yes. ✨
