From flour to fire 🍕🏕️ There’s something special about making pizza completely from scratch in the outdoors! Fresh dough, simple ingredients, a crackling campfire, and a delicious meal under the open sky. This is camping at its best.

CAPRESE BURRATA DIP

To Saute Tomatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, chopped
tub of cherry tomatoes & 6 truss tomatoes
salt & black pepper
Cooked in a cast iron frypan until softened (we used our charcoal Weber and the smoker to infuse with the smokey flavour! Winner! )

Assemble
Keep in the frypan;
top the sauteed tomatoes
2 balls of burrata, cut open
cup fresh basil
drizzle balsamic glaze
freshly ground black pepper

For Crostini
1 baguette
brush olive oil over bread slice
Toast for dipping

Enjoy 😉
try and not lick the frypan clean after this one it’s gonna tingle your tastebuds!

Sometimes the best trips are the ones you never planned.

We haven't spent nearly enough weekends camping this year. Between work changes and counting down the days until our international adventure, the camping gear has spent more time packed up than we'd like.

So this last minute decision to escape to an awesome hipcamp in Bromelton, turned out to be exactly what we needed... and honestly, it might just take the cake as one of our most scenic sites this year!

Just endless views, fresh crisp country air, complete seclusion, and the kind of silence you don't realise you've been craving until you hear it.
