I’m not interested in fading quietly as I get older 🙅‍♀️

Aren’t YOU tired of society telling us women that once we hit a certain age, we should fade into the background? Be less visible, less opinionated, less ambitious. I sure as hell am!

Every grey hair, every year I’ve lived, every experience I’ve gone through has made me less likely to give f**ks, made me stronger and more unapologetic.

We’ve earned the right to live fully and proudly — and we’re just getting started, yup, even at 50 ….. am I right or am I right?

Wanna know what’s crazy?

We can literally talk ourselves out of a dream before we even really try (and we do).

Somewhere along the way, we start believing that if something doesn’t come easily, it’s not for us. Hello world of instant gratification 👋

I was listening to a Podcast this morning and they were talking about how people in the LDS church have to do a sabbatical where they knock on doors to ‘spread the word’. Of course 99 out of 100 people politely (or not so politely) close the door in their face.

They mentioned that some of the most successful entrepreneurial people in the world are LDS - and it’s because of their perseverance. They don’t let 99 no’s get in their way - they-just-keep-going.

They know that somewhere between 1 - 100 people they meet will invite them in to let them speak.

But most of us quit waaaay before we get to 100.

And no, i’m not suggesting anyone run off and join a religion - I mean you do you boo, but that’s not my point.

My point is - we give up way too soon on our dreams, cos we expect them to be easy or quick.

So be like the LDS folk - don’t quit on your dreams!

Check out these whipper-snappers!

They’ve just gone next level in their business, while travelling around Australia, and chucking in their mining jobs.

They’ve generated $300k USD in sales in their biz - and received a bonus $4k cheque for their effort, on top of their commissions.

Our company pays out 56% of product value in commissions - as they say “tell me another company that does that”.�
You can do the math 👆

It’s why they (and yours truly) have planted our flags and will never do anything else.

These guys are passionate, they show up when it’s hard or when they don’t feel like it. But for them, staying in their jobs and being unhappy and unfulfilled wasn’t an option anymore.

Before they started ….

They had zero belief in themselves

Zero experience online or in sales

They had all the excuses why they wouldn’t succeed - but they didn’t let that stop them.

I had to set an alarm this morning, which doesn’t happen often these days, and it got me thinkin’ …

You know that feeling when you realise the life you’re living isn’t the one you truly want?

That feeling got me good a few years ago. I was “stuck” in a business I thought I’d love forever, but I was burnt out, resentful, and only staying for the money.

I got to he point where I just knew I couldn’t keep doing it. I wanted more. More choice, more flexibility, and definitely more time to actually enjoy my life.

So, I made the decision and I and sold my business — I knew i’d left a lot of money on the table, but I realised something even bigger: living life on my own terms was more valuable to me than anything 🤯

These days?

No alarms. No rushing out of the house to get to the office, and spending 10 hours a day there.

I wake up naturally, actually enjoy my cup of tea rather than skulling it, I get my butt to the gym when it’s quiet, and spend my day working from wherever I feel like—my couch, a café, or even poolside in Bali. If my daughter or mum need me, I’m there. If I want to hit the beach or take a spontaneous trip, I do it.

That’s the life I’ve built, and I’m still working towards even more financial freedom because my online business has an exit strategy, just like my traditional business.

And the best part? If I can do it, so can you. It’s entirely possible to create a life that revolves around you and what you deeply deeply desire xo

🩵 Pick one fear and tackle it head-on (start small)

My biggest advice: work on your mindset and re-program your subconscious mind like your life depends on it.

Because it does.

Your sub-conscious drives 95% of your feelings, thoughts and actions.

You have to feed it the good stuff - your dreams, hopes, wishes and what you deeply deeply desire every - single - day.
