What an incredible weekend! 🎭✨

Last weekend, we had the privilege of welcoming Justin Lehmann to Perth for two days of Meisner Technique training.

It was raw, challenging, playful, moving and incredibly inspiring but rather than me tell you about it, I’ll let the actors who were in the room tell you themselves 🤗

Their feedback speaks volumes.

Justin is, without question, one of Australia’s leading Meisner Technique teachers, and we are incredibly grateful for the generosity, knowledge and experience he shared with us 🙏

Thank you to every actor who showed up with such openness, courage and willingness to be vulnerable in the pursuit of truth and connection.

There is so much more to explore, and the overwhelming response has been…

When can we do it again? 🎬

Thank you, Justin, for an unforgettable weekend.

Connection over perfection. Always ✨

I’ll let you in on a little secret… 🤫 this is the real reason I’m bringing Justin Lehmann to Perth in one weeks time ✈️

In 2022, while living in Melbourne, I missed the opportunity to train in the Meisner Technique with Justin Lehmann Studio

After I left, a good actor friend began training with Justin and the growth I witnessed in her was extraordinary. She learned to stop manufacturing a performance, listen fully and respond truthfully in the moment.

I was incredibly envious!

So I reached out to Justin… and after quite a journey, he is finally coming to Perth NEXT WEEKEND.

Justin trained directly under the legendary Bill Esper in New York, one of Sanford Meisner’s most respected students and teachers. He remains committed to teaching the structured Bill Esper approach to Meisner training.

Over two intensive days, you’ll explore how to:

• Get out of your head
• Listen and respond truthfully
• Trust your instincts

• Create more authentic work on stage, screen and in auditions

Be quick! Only a few of the 20 places remain 🏃🏻‍♂️

I missed my chance in Melbourne — I don’t want WA actors to miss this one.

✨ What is the Meisner Technique... and could it change the way you approach acting?

Meisner training helps actors get out of their heads, listen fully and respond truthfully in the moment. Rather than planning every reaction or trying to manufacture emotion, you learn to trust your scene partner, the circumstances and your instincts.

🎭 Whether you work on stage, on screen or are still building your foundations, Meisner can help you become more present, connected, spontaneous and emotionally available.

This August, Melbourne-based teacher Justin Lehmann is coming to Perth for a rare, immersive two-day workshop. Justin studied with renowned acting teacher William Esper in New York and is one of Australia’s leading Meisner technique teachers.
