Crystal clear waters, days out on the boat, insane sunsets, tide pools & turtles 🐢 the perfect way to spend a couple nights in the north west of WA 🇦🇺

Gibb River Road Day 1 🚘🇦🇺⛺️

Not what I was expecting for day 1… 🛞🛞🫠🫠🫠

The day started amazing, we went to Tunnel Creek which requires at head torch to trek through the pitch black cave with freshwater crocodiles!! 🐊

Then at Windjana gorge which is a beautiful oasis of water & cliffs!

Then on our way to camp, we got a puncture and a flat tyre 🛞 🫠🫠🫠 so we had to change to our spare tyre and made the decision to drive back to Derby instead of carrying on the Gibb with no spare!

Let’s hope the rest of the journey is abit better 🤣🤣

Seeing Reg Dog at Dampier Peninsula! 🐕

An Aussie icon, Red Dog was a legendary red kelpie and cattle dog cross who roamed Western Australia’s Pilbara region during the 1970s. He became a beloved free spirited mascot for the local mining communities, hitchhiking on buses, trucks, and trains and touching the lives of everyone he met!

So great to see this amazing statue to honour the legend and his travels! ❤️❤️
