Caboolture Snakes Rugby League New Clubhouse $9M 🏉
This clubhouse has reached end of life and we need to accommodate the Ladies team in a more fitting way.
Myself, Council staff, external architects, and the Caboolture Snakes Senior and Junior club representatives, have worked together over the past year to get the design to where it is today –it’s going to be amazing. 🤩
Stage 1 will be the main operations building, with changerooms, first aid space, referee room, club offices, retail shop stores and a modern score and media booth. Council will also fund the construction of “The Hill” which will provide new accessible seating from one end of the field to the other. 👊🏽
Stage 2
I would like to thank the Mayor and my fellow Councillors for their support and additional $3 million to make Stage 2 to make this facility even better. 💰
Stage 2 will make game day even more entertaining and will include a large kitchen and clubroom, internal formal seating area with a generous game day viewing platform as well as an outdoor alfresco area looking out towards the gardens on the northern end. (current score board end) 🎉
This facility will be a very short distance from the new $11.4 million regional playground and zero-depth water play space, making it a perfect precinct for a family day out.
I foresee a great fundraising opportunity for the club, catering to the families that will be flocking in to visit.
This journey started for me and others nine years ago when it was recognised that the facility was getting to end of life for one and I’d would also like to thank the past and present committee members for your valuable input into this fantastic project.
Council would like to also acknowledge the support of the Federal Government via the Investing in Our Communities Program in 2022 were we secured a $ 3 million dollar commitment
