Welcome to Big Oz Explorers! After 3.5 years on the road full-time, we're now part-time travellers and proud owners of Agora Hideaway, our campground in Tenterfield, NSW. Follow us for a mix of farm life, DIY projects, and travel adventures. Whether you're planning your big lap or just curious about the off-grid lifestyle, we’ll share what we’ve learned along the way and why we chose this journey.

It’s been an exciting ride with ups, downs, and plenty of learning curves, all shared by your genuine Aussie family.

Mundi Mundi 2026, you’ve certainly given us a story to tell!

It’s been an absolute whirlwind of events this year, with the weather playing a HUGE part in the adventure.

From dragging the caravans through thick mud just to get them into our campsite, to watching conditions become so wet that people have unfortunately been turned away, it’s been nothing short of memorable so far.

But that’s all part of the Mundi Mundi experience this year!

Last night was our first night of entertainment and it definitely didn’t disappoint. After all the mud, rain, waiting and uncertainty getting here, it was pretty special to finally be standing out there with everyone, enjoying the atmosphere and taking it all in.

We’ve already made plenty of memories, and the festival has only just begun.

Mundi Mundi, what else have you got for us?

The last couple of months have been a lot.

If you’ve followed us for a while, you’ll know we don’t really do things by halves. We’ve always been the kind of family to jump into new chapters, take on big changes, and figure it out as we go.

And this has definitely been one of those chapters.

We’ve moved back south to the Brisbane bayside, which feels a bit surreal because it’s where our journey first started before we hit the road back in 2020. In a funny way, it feels like we’ve done a full circle.

Our beautiful property in Far North Queensland is still ours, and it will always hold a really special place in our hearts. But for now, life has pulled us in a new direction.

We’ve been given an opportunity to bring together everything we’ve learnt from travelling, living on the road, creating content, and sharing our life online, and turn that into a new job we’re really excited about.

It’s been a big few months of packing up, moving, settling the kids, finding our feet and adjusting to a whole new routine.

We’ve been a bit quiet while we’ve been in the thick of it all, but we’re still here, still figuring life out as we go, and still taking you along for the ride.

Happy Mother’s Day,

I honestly don’t think words will ever fully explain just how much you mean to us. Watching you as a mum is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen. The love, patience, strength and care you pour into our family every single day never goes unnoticed.

You are the heart of this family. The one who keeps everything moving, keeps everyone loved, supported and safe, even on the hard days when nobody else sees just how much you carry. Jayda and Jack are so lucky to have a mum like you, and I’m beyond lucky to walk through life beside you.

Thank you for every cuddle, every late night, every school run, every sacrifice, every laugh, every pep talk and every little thing you do behind the scenes that holds this family together. You make our world better simply by being in it.

We absolutely appreciate everything you do more than you know, and today is all about celebrating you and the amazing mother you are.

We love you endlessly.

Love always,
Chris, Jayda & Jack

Today we remember the brave men and women who served our country, both past and present.

ANZAC Day is a day of respect, reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made by so many. Their courage, mateship and service will never be forgotten.

We hope everyone has a great day commemorating and celebrating the ANZAC spirit.

Lest we forget.

Hello everyone, we’ve been a little quiet on socials lately. We’ve been up north enjoying everything FNQ has to offer, while also spending time planning our next big adventure.

We’ve got another big life change on the horizon, with a lot happening over the next couple of months.

In true Chris and Sian fashion, we’ve been given a great opportunity to help create a bigger and better future for our family. It’s something that will play a big part in shaping what the next chapter looks like for us and the kids. We know some people probably think we’re a little crazy with how much we’ve moved and changed over the past few years, but we’ve always believed in taking opportunities when they present themselves.

With every change, every leap, and every new chapter, we’ve grown so much as people and learnt something valuable along the way. It hasn’t always been easy, but getting outside your comfort zone can be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

We’re not quite ready to share all the details just yet, but once everything is in place, we’ll be excited to share our next adventure with you all.
