I remember being so curious about what’s on the other side, but I was stuck in the loop of “What if I’m not ready?” or “What if I fail?”

"Is Working Online Hard?"

The other day, a mum asked me, “Is working online hard?”

It’s a question I get a lot.

And I get it. From the outside, it can look overwhelming or even too good to be true.

My honest reply?

“Not as hard as spending long hours at my 9 to 5, missing out on my kids entire lives & missing milestones, and feeling like my life was on autopilot every single day.”

Anything worth having comes with challenges.

But the "hard" I face now? It’s different.

It’s the kind of hard that comes with growth, learning new skills, and building something meaningful for my family and myself.

It’s the “hard” that comes with leaving the traditional route of earning an income and being different.

It’s not dragging myself out of bed at 5 a.m.

It’s not sitting in endless traffic or clocking overtime for someone else’s dream.

It’s not the heartbreak of hearing my kids ask, “Why can’t you stay home today?”

Society though loves to judge women who dare to step outside the traditional mold. So he fully prepared for this!!!

Some might say, “That’s not a real job,” or assume I’m wasting my time. Others might silently watch, waiting for me to fail. And yes, I’ve experienced moments where support I thought was guaranteed wasn’t there.

BUT I’m fine with that.

You quickly learn here that people’s opinions don’t pay the bills or create the life I dream of.

The "hard" of an online business is worth it because it gives me freedom.

Freedom to be present. Freedom to grow. Freedom to rewrite what life looks like for me and my family.

To the mums out there wondering if they could do this, let me say this…

Yes, it takes effort. Yes, it requires YOU stepping into the unknown. But if you’ve ever juggled kids, work, relationships, and everything else life throws at you, then trust me, you already know how to do hard things in life!!

Don’t allow the fear of judgment or failure stop you. Let it fuel you. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.

Let’s have an honest chat… 💭

How many times have you thought to yourself this week, “I’d love to, but I just don’t have the time”?

I get it. Your days are a blur of school drop offs, meal planning, laundry, work deadlines, and squeezing in moments of rest where you can. It’s easy to feel like there’s no space for you in all of that.

But what if it’s not really about time?
What if it’s more about fear?

Fear of the unknown.
Fear of failing.
Fear that taking time for yourself might make you seem selfish.
Fear about what others might think.
Fear of change.

Those fears are valid, but they’re also the very things that keep us stuck.

The truth is…

We will never feel like there’s enough time.

Life doesn’t slow down, and those little windows of opportunity don’t magically appear.

But the women who succeed, who break the cycle and create space for something more, are the ones who decide to take imperfect action anyway.

I’ve been there. I told myself the same story for years,
“There’s no way I can fit anything else into my already overflowing plate.”

But looking back, it wasn’t about the time I didn’t have.

It was about the belief I didn’t have in myself.

Here’s what I’ve learned recently…

✨ You don’t need hours upon hours every day to start something new.
✨ You don’t need to have it all figured out before you begin.
✨You don’t have to give up what matters most to you, your family, your kids, your sanity.
✨Starting small is still starting. Progress is still progress, even if it’s slow.

If you’re waiting for a “better time,” let me lovingly remind you…

There is no perfect time. There’s only right now. And maybe, just maybe, “not enough time” is the story that’s holding you back from everything you deserve.

So, here’s the question…
What if you stopped waiting for time to find you and decided to create it instead? 💕

My top 10 Lessons from 2024✨

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on all the lessons this year has taught me, both in life and business.

It’s been a year of incredible growth, and I want to share some of the top lessons I’ve learned along the way. Maybe these resonate with you too, or inspire you to reflect on your own journey.

1. Action beats perfection. Every. Single. Time. Waiting for the “perfect” moment only keeps you stuck. Starting messy is better than not starting at all.

2. Your mindset is literally everything. What you believe about yourself and what’s possible will shape you and your success starts within.

3. Community is powerful. Surrounding yourself with like-minded women who uplift and inspire you makes ALL the difference in life and in business. We truly are stronger together.

4. Confidence is built through showing up. I used to shy away from putting myself out there, but each time I showed up, I grew stronger and more comfortable in my own skin.

5. Time is your most valuable resource. Use it wisely. The moments you invest in building something meaningful will pay dividends for years to come.

6. Failures are lessons in disguise. Every setback has taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and how to pivot with grace and keep moving forward.

7. It’s okay to rest. Hustle culture is overrated. Resting is not a luxury, it’s essential for long term success and wellbeing, in life and in business.

8. Believe in your value. Charging what you're worth or saying yes to high-ticket opportunities isn’t selfish, it’s actually just a smarter way to earn an income and it’s also empowering.

9. Gratitude changes everything. Focusing on what you’re thankful for shifts your energy and keeps you moving forward.

10. You are capable of more than you think. If you’ve been watching my journey this year, know that I started where you are..

Curious, unsure, and maybe even a little scared. (I was actually terrified).

Growth comes from leaning into those feelings and taking the leap anyway, knowing and trusting there is a better way to balance life, family and earning an income.
