ANNOUNCEMENT! 📢
I just released 2 songs on all streaming platforms.
A little bit of context behind the sudden release.
Both of these songs are my gift to my parents this Christmas.
The first one being, Que Sera Sera.
My dad used to sing this to me and my brothers every night before bed when we were little.
The 2nd song is Beth, it’s my mums favourite song.
Usually I keep these types of gifts private between my parents/friends and I.
But with all the recent flooding and tragedy in my hometown of Cairns I thought some people back home could find some comfort in these songs, in what has been a really challenging time for those affected.
I’ve felt really homesick lately, spending this Christmas away from my parents, brothers, sis & nephew.
I’ve also felt really helpless watching my hometown fill with water and seeing people I care about lose all of their belongings with their houses destroyed.
Recording these songs was kinda therapeutic for me & it helped a lot.
Anyway, I’m about to play one more gig for the year.
This is my 20th gig in the past 23 days.
Im knackered.
But tomorrow we party.
