My Dear friend Kaylene’s dad Warren who is a polio survivor, is celebrating his 80th birthday, so she thought it would be a good idea to celebrate the special occasion. Chopper Mike offered to pick up Warren and Isabel at their home at Holloways Beach, take them for a spin in his Gangster Chrysler 300C Limousine along the Cairns Esplanade, then ferry them to the Edge Tavern for lunch with family. Congratulations Warren and enjoy your birthday celebrations-let’s drive🤪👌✌️

Blast from the past, these three lovely ladies were given a Harley ride each two and a half years ago. As Chopper Mike no longer does Harley rides, he offered to take them to Port Douglas in a Ford Mustang Convertible. A great time was had by all, let’s drive ladies🤪👌✌️

“Chopper Mike’s back” in semi-retirement, he is enjoying taking great friends Ariana and Analia for a cruise in his 1971 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck, to their St Mary’s Formal held at the Cairns Convention Centre. Special thanks to Ariana’s Auntie Rita for the referral, good luck girls for your future-let’s drive Chopper Mike👊😎

It is with mixed feelings that Chopper Mike announces that he is retiring and hanging up his helmet, he has done his “Last Ride”. Choppers Motorcycle Tours has been running for 18 years, starting with a Harley Davidson Softail motorbike, then adding a Custom Chopper Trike, also a fleet of Rental Motorbikes over the years. Chopper Mikes dream was to share his love of riding Harley’s, by taking people for a ride on the back and giving them a thrill of a lifetime. He quickly realised, that not everyone was prepared to jump on the back of a motorbike for whatever reason, this is when the Trike was added to the mix, to cater for all sizes and ages. Enormous thanks must go to good mate and head mechanic Deano, for his perseverance and skill set in customising and maintaining the “Blue Thunder” Trike over many years. The demand for self-hire motorbikes was so great, Mike introduced various models to cater for peoples tastes and desires. Chopper Mike would like to thank his mate and colleague “Rebel Ron” for his loyal support over the years, not even complaining once, when his first choice became his second choice on the day of the ride. Also, a special thanks goes out to Choppers “Wildhog” buddies who stepped up to help on the tour days. My rocks are my darling wife Annie and super son Mitch, who were always there to take calls and help organise the rides. I would like to personally thank everyone of my customers both domestic and international visitors, who made my rides so special and fun filled. They say if you love your job, you never work a day in your life, I guess this applies to me, so thankyou one and all. If anyone is re-visiting Cairns, look me up at our Mini Car Rentals office, would love to catch up with you guys and reminisce about previous adventures. “The Last Ride” Lee is a local radio personality, her dear mum Sherlee has come to Cairns to live and is celebrating her 86th birthday. Lee’s aunty “Judge Judy” lives in Shepparton Victoria, is up here for the celebrations in beautiful Cairns. Lee organised a transfer on a “Limo with attitude” a Custom Chopper Trike from their accommodation at the Oaks in Port Douglas, back home to Holloways Beach where she lives. Congratulations Sherlee and thanks Lee for the great idea, let’s ride ladies 👊😎

Greg and Sue are from Cabarita Beach in Northern NSW, they were last here in Beautiful Cairns in 2005. They are here for a 3 day getaway from everything, and were recommended to Choppers Trike Tours by some friends who lived close by, till we meet again - let’s ride🤪👌

Troy and son Rhys are from Townsville, they are here in beautiful Cairns for a bit of respite from Troys busy business. He wanted to do something exciting for Rhys, saw the Electric Blue Custom Chopper Trike swing past their accommodation on the Cairns Esplanade. A quick google located Choppers Trike Tours and the rest is history. A spin up to Campbell’s Lookout, followed by a cruise along the Cairns Esplanade, ensured Rhys had a holiday to remember-let’s ride👍👊😎

Ingrid is from Port Macquarie and Kerry is from the big smoke Sydney, they have been buddies for 9 years. Ingrid has owned a Harley motorbike in the past, and Kerry loves Harley’s as well. As it is Kerry’s 40th birthday year, her buddy Ingrid wanted her to celebrate with some adventure experiences. So, it started with a tattoo on her ankle, jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane lol, then she googled Choppers to get some wind in the face on a mountain lookout ride above Cairns City. What a way to celebrate your special birthday Kerry, thanks Ingrid and congratulations, good luck at the Casino you two-let’s ride👍👊😎
