Non Profits have the BEST Stories! (but are underutilizing them)

I can prove to you that non-profit organizations have the BEST stories to tell, but in my experience, they are being WAY underutilized.

For this non-profit video strategy, I draw on the work of Kindra Hall in her book Stories That Stick, I give you some tips on how to supercharge your non-profit marketing by using the stories it already has to make social media and fundraising a breeze and increase your impact!

I had the joy of working with ShareWord Global Brasil on two of their GO Trips last year. The first one was to The Amazon, nearly 2 weeks without cell service, internet, or access to an electric grid.

I had to keep my kit light, and work in some challenging situations, but I am super proud of what we captured. I captured so much in B-roll and interviews, there are still dozens more videos that can be made with the content!

Here is one cut I made to aid in volunteer recruitment and fundraising at churches across the US.

I made this video to submit to the Artlist.io 100K fund, 2023.

Regardless of what happens with this video, I'm glad I made it. It was great to reflect on my career and adventures a decade on.

So much growth and learning so far, and so much still left, but I'm very happy with where I am today.
