At the accident I was pi**ed off that my friends didn't care about how exciting the day 08/08/88 was. So on my bicycle I angrily banged my front wheel up and down. Then the quick release front wheel flew off and I landed on my face and my body scraped along the path and my face ended up on the road next to the path. The blood and puss was in a large pool and the puss and blood stayed there for many days. When I regained consciousness I choked on blood. I saw white everywhere. I died briefly and came back to life when I inhaled blood. I walked over to the steps of a friends house and knocked on the door. A lady answered the door and rang the ambulance. About that time my older brother Steve was there touching my right shoulder to give care. Whilst sitting on the steps of my friends house I had my hands on my face then I took my hands down and saw blood pouring from my face and my hands were covered in blood. I looked up and saw white. The ambulance came to the left and I was lifted into the stretcher. In the ambulance I asked Mum, "Mum am I dying?" and Mum said, "No Paul you're not dying". With therapy I got over the PTSD from dying and coming back to life.
