We are very pleased to announce that in the lead up to the launch of LS Issue 04 @ our upcoming Spooky Stories night, Ben O’Mara (freelance writer, LS Chief Spooky
Officer) is hosting SKIN IN THE GAME, a writing workshop, with Fionn MacPherson (LS fiction editor). The workshop is an opportunity to practice writing dark or macabre forms of short memoir, travel stories, reportage, and other nonfiction. New and established writers welcome. We would like to share a belated thank you to P.S. To help honour Gemma Carey’s memory on her birthday (R.I.P.), we are pleased to share her memoir piece: “slow violence, a weird delirium”, from Lost Souls Magazine Issue 01. Carey wrote about the 'weird' experience of learning how to read and write again after vaccine induced COVID. Carey was also a founding member of the magazine. With artwork by Nic Carey. The piece is our first print story published online.
