Handy camping power option 🔌

We recently got our hands on the volt step down power solution. Super handy to be able to use tool batteries you may already have in the shed or ute.

You can even run a fridge off it which is pretty impressive.

Ok so we have been REEEEAAALLLY slack on socials of late!

But...we have been SUPER busy. We have completed a BUNCH of work for a heap of different brands over the last little bit.

Basically our content can be summarised as Matt catching or throwing something and Kerryn finding every chance she has to have a snooze.

Now black friday has done its thing we can get back to regular camping programming!

Sorry for spamming your ads feed 😁

Part 7 | Dad Taxi Car Glamp-up

The position of the UHF mount has annoyed me since the radio was installed in the car. There isn't many spots to place it in the MUX.

In this part we have found a solution for both the UHF and phone.

Check out to get the right mount to fit your vehicle. We defs recommend them and the mount has been a great addition to the car.

Part 6 | Dad Taxi Car Glamp-up

Really practical addition to the car for this update, but really helpful!

To help with accessing the roof top tent when opening, this Stepmate we picked up from is perfect!

Winton - Australian Age of Dinosaurs | Winton Trip - Part 8

An absolute must, and the reason we went all the way out to visit Winton, is to visit the
The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum.

It is home to the largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils in the world. Was amazing to see and even touch some fossils. And the March of the Titanosaurs exhibition was 1. Massive and 2. cool to see footprints and have it explained what was all going on over many many years.

The Museum is split between three facilities, the Fossil Preparation Laboratory, Collection Room and Dinosaur Canyon.

Blackall | Winton Trip - Part 6

Next stop on our outback trip is Blackall.

We stayed at Shannendoah Sunset Farm and what a cracking spot it was to stop.

A highlight was a farm tour we did with the camp caretaker. An absolute legend who was full of knowledge about the farm, animals and a great story teller. Loved being able to feed camels, donkeys, Ferdinand the HUGE bull and a heaps of friendly goats!

Charleville | Winton Trip - Part 3

What did we get up to in Charleville?

- Silo Art - loved seeing these at a number of small towns. This one is depicting a sports scene.
- Charleville Bilby Experience - was amazing to see Bilbies!
- Cosmos Centre - learnt a bunch about the stars and space.
- The big bench - which fit our whole family.
- Royal Flying Doctors Charleville Base
- WWII Secret Base - learning all about the US airbase located in Charleville that the whole town kept secret.

There is a bunch more we could have explored in Charleville. Check out for what you can get up to in the area.

Charleville | Winton Trip - Part 2

The Charleville Bush Caravan Park was such a great spot to spend a couple of nights whilst we explored Charleville.

Only a couple of minutes out of town, there are a bunch of sites, both powered and unpowered, good facilities and it all-round is a great spot.
