I am looking to update my distribution locations for Capel Courier, I have several in Capel townsite, Peppy Beach , Stratham, and Boyanup (which i missed with the latest edition, apologies)

Hands up if you would to add a location to have the Capel Courier available , and I would be greatly appreciative of local help to get them out there
I can bring a stack of them to Boyanup for example, if i could have someone distribute them to a few locations for me, Same for Gelorup, Dalyellup too.

Its coming
July will be the first fully fledged edition of Capel Courier - Connecting Community.
Delivered by email, hard copy, and digital version available.
I did a trial run with new format to email subscribers in June, got some good feedback

Lots of community content, whats going on, and community events, Plus the start of the Capel Courier Business Directory.
It seems there are many businesses withing Shire of Capel that we dont know about, but we should.

Good Morning Capel,
I have a huge apology:
Unfortunately as i have been very busy in my takeover of Capel Courier, I wont be publishing an edition this month.

June however will be a different story, I am currently doing a revamp of the newsletter, and its content. Businesses who have paid for advertising in May will be getting an additional month of their adverts, and I am planning to come meet as many as I possibly can over the next month.

I will also be setting up a mailing list, there are already many subscribers who receive Capel Courier by email, pls email me [email protected] if you would like to be added to this list.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

We have a NEW Editor in Chief

Suzanne Pilling , bless her cotton socks, has made a big decision to hand the reins to the next person who can take charge and build on the Community Newsletter we have here in Capel.

That person is Paul Hashman , current Vice President of the Capel Chamber of Commerce, and founder of Ginger Apps, Ginger Web Solutions.
I do look forward to building on the the hard work done by Suzie, and those before her. First step is to get a somewhat delayed but still coming May Edition out there

I have been collaborating with current advertisers and community groups to get their content ready for this edition.
Connecting Community is the vision I would like to keep working with.
And from that I am connecting with The Youth Collective in Capel, bringing some raw energy and perspective from them.
SO keep your eyes peeled on future editions as we expand on that.

As a member of the Capel Chamber of Commerce, we have been discussing the need for a community business directory, a One Stop Shop for businesses to be seen within the Shire of Capel, which includes Boyanup, Gelorup, Peppi Beach and Dalyellup. I will be reaching out in due course with an opportunity get your business in the directory.

At some stage further on I am planning on building a website for Capel Courier, and this will expand the business directory into a digital space.

For now, I look forward to Connecting Community with Capel Courier

Short delay to the remainder of the hard copies being distributed. We got half of them to the IGA before we had to get the printer fixed. No delay to the email or FB distributed copies though.
