I am really excited to share that I have been selected for the 2025 NSW Labor Diversity Fellowship program 🎉Huge congratulations to all 14 successful applicants out of 94 from all around the state. Today was our first session with Professor Frank Bongiorno from the Australian National University and Jimmy Bai, Director of Parliamentary Affairs to the NSW Treasurer. I am already learning so much! This program is going to be an incredible journey, and I am honored to be a part of it.🌟 Thanks to the founders for creating this opportunity

Cessnock City Council welcomes back former Deputy Mayor and three-term councillor James Hawkins, who was officially sworn in this morning as the newly elected Ward A Councillor.

James has been elected to the position via a countback election conducted by the NSW Electoral Commission following the resignation of former Mayor Jay Suvaal, Councillor Hawkins embarks on his fourth term serving the Cessnock community.

Great to have you back, James.
