Solve the smelliest mystery of the school holidays. Finnegan the Fart Detective comes to The Events Centre, Caloundra, on Thursday 24 September, with three sessions across the day.

Audiences wear Silent Disco headphones and step inside the investigation, hearing every creak, squeak and suspicious sound in rich 3D audio, while two performers bring a whole cast of quirky suspects to life with live foley and original music.

Presented by Arena Theatre Company, this immersive show for curious kids aged 6 to 12 turns behind-the-scenes sound-making into the show itself.

Sessions run at 9.30am, 11.30am and 2pm.

Tickets are $32, booking via The Events Centre.

Pick your spot: a reserved table and Traditional Roast Lamb Lunch in the Champagne Garden (Members $36pp, Non-Members $48pp), Atrium Dining with an entree and main a la carte package and Dad's first beer on the house (from $73pp), or ringside alfresco seating on the Parade Ring Terrace ($15pp). There's also private dining for the whole crew in The Glasshouse.

This morning, we attended the official launch of the 2026 Sunshine Coast Open House at the Sunshine Coast Aero Club. Huge congratulations to Siam Samrarn Thai Thai Restaurant, crowned Best Thai – National Winner at the 2026 Australian Dining Awards!
