The impact of challenging times on small businesses has been profound, with approximately 7,700 small businesses closing in the nine months leading up to the end of March. This marks a 36% increase and the highest number of closures in 11 years.

A rustic old shed built on the mangrove tideline of the Georges River in Taren Point South is famously known as “Brett’s Place”

While most of the population living in “the shire” are in well-built modern comforts, to say the least. Bretto has kept the “rustic living” dream alive as his humble dwelling is part of the Mangroves. But it’s “what” this Kiwi character has been tinkering away at in his shed for over two decades. Whatever is being built in this rickety structure needs to be finished in time as the powers that be want to tear down “Brett’s Place” for good.
