The story of Charleville’s famous Corones Hotel is captured in a compelling work of narrative non-fiction, The Accidental Australians, by Fran Harding, who follows it up with a new book recalling her own involvement with the historic landmark and the many characters she encountered of the pub & the Outback. Story in our October edition.

And tomorrow, at Crows Nest Showgrounds, don’t forget the Antique Bottle & Collectables Show is happening with market stalls from a variety of dealers. Canteen operating. Cash only.
