4 person Ambrose- a golfing format where 4 players pool their best efforts per shot and record a single team score per hole.

This time last year(minus Gal)we played the TCW charity golf day and carded +6 for the day.

Today we carded -5(-13.0 nett aggregate) and finished 3rd!

I also bagged a long drive trophy and snagged a coupla raffle prizes as well!

What a day mate🙌🏌️‍♂️

Teven Valley GC👌

If you get the chance, head down to Teven Golf Club for a round. The course is like something out of the Sistine Chapel, pure art, just magnificent!

Jeff greeted us upon arrival, looked after my partners hire clubs, gave us a very helpful and entertaining run down about the course layout and how best to enjoy it. 11/10 service.

No carts but honestly, it would be cruel to not walk this landscaping masterpiece.

Will definitely be back🏌️‍♂️✅

Progress update🤘

Safe to say I won’t make the single digit handicap deadline from 6 months ago…

HOWEVER… we are trending so I’m extending for another 4 weeks because what the fk else am I gonna do😂. I love this sh*t🏌️‍♂️

Have a go at the practice round I played today. Who would’ve though practicing a more shallow swing path could look so diverse on the golf course😂

This 45° alignment stick drill showing me how over the top feels and how it shouldn’t feel🙏.

The last two rounds I have carded my equal lowest rounds, back to back! 82 off the stick from the tips and the white tees🙌

In saying that, I am humbled by the fact that I know I haven’t figured it all out(contrary to 4 weeks ago me😂). But I am trending in the right direction to consistent swing path/ball striking(for my level)

Now as I said in the reel, it looks like I’m just slapping balls like a di****ad. But there’s something to take away for me here and if I take what I have learned today into tomorrows mid week comp… double bogeys might just struggle to make an appearance🫡

Post round practice got me fkd up💀

Didn’t score well and I struggled to find a feel off the tee today unfortunately! Left myself 10 punch out of trouble shots just to try save bogey so it’s back to the nets and yoga mat for me!

Looks like I found something of a swing feel post round though… What do you think?
