My name is Aaila Cox-Tanaka, and I’m a proud Nimanburr and Yawuru woman with a passion for living off Country and sharing the knowledge, adventures and experiences that come with it.🦇🫶🏽
Whether I’m out fishing, crabbing, hunting, gathering bush foods or simply spending time on Country, this page is about celebrating our connection to land and sea, embracing culture and showing that every trip outdoors is an opportunity to learn something new. After all, life is better on Country. 🌿🤎
I started this page because I love sharing what I do and hope to inspire others—especially our young people—to get outside, connect with Country, learn and appreciate the incredible resources we have around us.
Like everyone, I have a story. My past has helped shape me, but it doesn’t define me. I choose to focus on the present, keep growing and build a future that makes myself proud.✊🏽💯
