When the steak is this good… you give the butcher a shout-out! 🥩🔥

We grabbed these beautiful rib fillets from Riverway Meats in Townsville and bloody hell they were good 🤤

Shaun reckons there’s only one way to cook a steak like this… over the coals, beer in hand 🍺🔥

We got to see one of Burketown’s famous Morning Glory clouds! 😍

How bloody amazing is this!

We were just launching the boat when this huge roll cloud came sweeping across the sky. The wind picked up, everything went dark and it looked like a massive wave rolling towards us.

We’d actually seen Morning Glory clouds before when we lived on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria, but it’s been a long time — and they’re just as impressive to watch now.

Not long after this one passed, we could see another one forming out to the west.

Definitely not a bad way to start a morning on the water! 🎣

One of my favourite things about having a fire… it automatically becomes Shaun’s night to cook 😂🔥

I don’t make the rules 🤷‍♀️

He chops the wood, gets the fire going and cooks dinner… while I supervise with a drink in hand. Perfect arrangement, really 😂👌

Although apparently Shaun thinks I still have a job to do… 🍺🤣

Who does the cooking when the fire gets lit at your camp? 🔥😂

And make sure you wait for the end… 🔊🤣
