We are looking forward to being on the ground and supporting all the media productions for next week's Children's Ground Apmerenge-ntyele Festival.

The festival will bring together families, Elders, young people, artists and cultural leaders from across the Northern Territory and nationally for two days of traditional dance and song, cultural workshops, contemporary music and community celebration.
Apmerenge-ntyele – meaning that everything comes from the land – is a community-led gathering guided by Traditional Owners, Cultural Directors and community leaders. The festival celebrates Aboriginal culture, language, Country, music, dance, art, healing, families and community strength, and honours the role of Elders in passing on knowledge to younger generations.

Congratulations to all the media, creative and production crews who work hard behind the scenes to bring together the Telstra NATSIAAs together.

It was a great night to help capture alongside other NT production companies and photographers.

Thanks Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory for having our crew back this year to assist.

I’d like to thank Aboriginal Investment NT for making it possible for me to be back on the tools with my very own video kit.

🧡 There are no losers in sport 🧡

That's the simple reminder from Dr Charlie King AM as two Northern Territory communities approach their finals weekends.

Charlie reminds us that whether you're playing, coaching, officiating or cheering from the sidelines, everyone has a part to play in making our sporting events safe, welcoming and respectful. Let's our teams and umpires with respect and look after one another.

Have a listen to Charlie's message and help make these Grand Finals games to remember for all the right reasons.

A special thanks to for recording and producing this message with Dr Charlie King AM.

We're super glad to be out here helping the Nja-marléya Cultural Leaders and Justice Group, Maningrida Traditional Owners and leaders spread the message about community safety and respect before this weekend's grand final.

Glad to team up with NO MORE AU

In the wise words of Charlie King - "In football, one team win, one team doesn't. There are no losers.

We're back out bush, where stories begin. ❤️🖤💛

Few things fill my cup more than being back out bush, sitting with mob listening, learning and creating together.

This week, during NAIDOC Week, Native Bird Media is in the beautiful Maningrida to facilitate community workshops exploring sport, language and respect.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land and sea of the Kunibídji–Ndjébbana and Burrara peoples, and the other seven language groups who call this beautiful region home. Thank you for welcoming us onto Country and sharing your knowledge, stories and perspectives.

It's been inspiring to sit alongside Elders, young people, sporting leaders and families as they shape a series of community message videos that will be filmed in Maningrida later this year.

This is the work that reminds me why I started Native Bird Media.

Thanks to Aboriginal Investment NT for assisting with equipment purchases for Native Bird Media to make this all possible.

It's never just about creating a video. It's about building trust, listening first, creating safe spaces for conversation and ensuring communities tell their own stories, in their own words.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful collaborators:

I'm not gonna lie, this one made me emotional 💛

Recently, I had the privilege of speaking at The Smith Family Step Up Event and to a room full of incredible young girls from schools across Darwin in Years 9 and 10… and it really took me back.

❤It made me stop and reflect on where I’ve come from and where I am today — a super shy small Cairns girl who didn’t always know what her future would look like, to now sharing my little journey to a room full of young women already working hard, showing leadership and dreaming big.

OMG, do they have some amazing goals ahead of themselves, and many are already in entrepreneurial hustles outside of school, such as doing eyelashes and eyebrows for their friends for extra money and photography. A huge step up from where I was washing neighbourhood cars and working at the local IGA.

The Step Up program is about helping girls build confidence, aspirations and pathways beyond school, and I felt super privileged to be there alongside inspiring mentors — nurses, scientists, lawyers, business owners and so many other incredible women generously sharing their stories and advice.

And to the girls in the room — thank you. Your ambition, curiosity and big dreams genuinely inspired me and gave me an extra push to keep backing myself in my own life and business - Native Bird Media . It reminded me that life is short, so dream big and make it count.

A very special experience. Thank you to The Smith Family for having me.
