It is a weekend away built around fellowship, good food and time with like minded people. Meals are on at the Dayboro Bowls Club tonight, 5:45pm to 8pm at 52 Bradley Street. No cost to come in, just order your meal at the counter and settle in for a feed with the locals. Good easy option if you can't be bothered cooking on a Friday.

Friday Foodies is on this afternoon at Samford Valley Steiner School out at Wights Mountain, kicking off at 2:45pm. It is a community market run by the school's Parents and Friends Association, a chance for families and locals to catch up over food after the school day. Free to wander in, just bring some money for the food stalls.
