Me first (decent) blacksmith knife, forged from a railway spike we picked up in our fruitpicking travels up north, years ago. Hammered the blade thin, oil quenched, with only minor grinding.

Some bowls we're seasoning; mostly spotted gum, with silky oak and red cedar. A load of spotted gum from a friend's tree that fell during Alfred. Slowly cut up, lugged home, cut again, sealed and stored. If this isn't done quickly, the logs will just split any ol' how, leaving them only useful as firewood.

You can see Damian's improvised cartooning desk near the log horse, because he can't help himself.
