What can Queensland councils learn from water reforms elsewhere?

KPMG’s Jim Grayson and Sophie Guest told the Queensland Water Directorate Annual Forum that very different jurisdictions are confronting similar problems around infrastructure, affordability, governance and trust.

Their message for Queensland was not to copy another model, but to prepare through stronger planning, clearer service levels and better financial transparency.
