Costumes in Clay: Gerda Satunas
Gerda Satunas’ love of the rich European arts culture and history that surrounded her growing up in Lithuania, and a fascination for pattern in natural forms, inspired this series of ceramics. Almost alive with their sensuous, organic textures and regal with exquisite gold highlights, the vessels are a beautiful blend of decorative motifs from antiquity, fashion and nature.

In conversation with Sturt Krygsman
Sturt Krygsman‘s paintings draw attention to beauty and detail in nature’s compositions and aim to elicit appreciation for its magic.

"My work is inspired by the natural environment. I’m a bit of a greenie and care deeply about nature. I try to blend the surface messiness of the bush with the deeper, unseen, mystical/mythical side of it. I’d like the viewer to ask themselves, ”I wonder what magical thing would live there?” If the viewer sees our planet through different eyes, I will have done something to help." - Krygsman
