Ballzzz in the Air

At our regular Ballzzz in the Air team meeting this week, we were pretty sure that we had one “right out of the box” for you. Coach Chris noted that “all the pieces were in place” for a special show, as we will be joined by Katie and Alicia from Australian Social Jigsaw Puzzle Events (ASJPE). You may be puzzling over the sports connection here – rest assured that Katie and Alicia will help us to “piece it all together”, as we talk PUZZLE RACING.
As usual, we will also have all manner of local (and a bit “less local”) sports to keep you informed and entertained, and a banging soundtrack of (mostly) local music! Yes, it will all be happening on 4ZZZ’s flagship sports programme SATURDAY MORNING (Qld time).
The Ballzzz will be in the Air, and you should catch us – but how? Tune your radio to 102.1FM, or get yourself to www.4zzz.org.au on the interwebs, then click on “STREAM 102.1FM” (click the little bars at the top right corner of the page for the menu).

Our Ballzzz are in and on the air

This is HUGE. First time an Australian Womens Curling Team has progressed to this stage. They have played hard, played nice, kept those Stonezzz on the Ice! Get behind them, sports fans!

We are so excited and so proud of our Australian Women’s Curling Team as they head into the Olympic Qualification Event. We will have a different type of Ballzzz in the Air this morning, Padel is an exciting racquet sport combining elements of tennis and squash, and it has established itself right here in Brisbane.
Gareth of Padel Brisbane will be joining Chris and Anthony live on the centre-court of Studio #2 to bring us up to speed on the energetic and fast-growing sport.
