The countdown is on to another colourful Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive on Sunday 27 September 2026.

Sunday’s gathering brought together a wonderful variety of classic cars, period-inspired dress and plenty of community spirit. From bright colours and gleaming chrome to the people who keep these cars, traditions and stories alive, it was a terrific reminder that this event is about much more than the drive itself.

Join fellow enthusiasts, dress the part and help raise awareness and funds for men’s health through Movember.

In Episode 1, we visited the old Dayboro Butter Factory and explored the people, places and stories behind the cars. Every episode begins with a journey : and with the people who bring the stories to life.

Looking back at the very first Australian Car Collector episode, this scenic lookout on the Dayboro–Mount Mee–Woodford run captured more than a beautiful stretch of Queensland country. It was a moment shared by the characters and crew behind the series, travelling through landscapes that are every bit as memorable as the cars themselves.

The conversations, the roads, the changing scenery and the people we meet are what make Australian Car Collector special. Episode 1 was the beginning of that journey, and it remains a favourite to look back on.

Some Sunday drives are about the destination. Others are about the company, the cars and the cause behind them.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive brings together timeless automobiles, relaxed motoring and a shared commitment to men’s health. It’s a chance to enjoy the character of classic cars while helping raise funds and awareness for Movember.

This year’s drive takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026.

If you’re taking part, register now. If driving isn’t possible, you can still make a difference by donating and supporting the men’s health work behind the event.

There’s a certain magic to a Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive gathering : classic cars with real character, period style, and a crowd that knows how to make a day of it.

Every vehicle brings its own personality. Every gathering creates another chapter in the story of motoring, friendship and shared enthusiasm.

The 2026 Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive is coming up on Sunday 27 September. Classic-car enthusiasts can register to take part or support the men’s health and Movember fundraiser.
