Centenary at the Curb: 100 Years of Samford Garage
Ben and Mark from Australian Car Collector headed out to Samford to help celebrate a massive milestone: a full century of the Samford Garage.
It’s rare to see a local institution hit the hundred-year mark, especially one that has remained a cornerstone of the regional car scene. From its beginnings as a rural workshop to its current status as a community landmark, the day was a tribute to the machines and the people who have kept the doors open since the 1920s.
We spent the day catching up with the locals, checking out the diverse lineup of classic steel on display, and documenting a bit of Queensland’s living automotive history. Whether you’re into vintage workhorses or pristine restorations, the Samford centenary proved that some things—like a good local garage—only get better with age. BGS Classic Cars

Dapper Drives & Classic Rides: Distinguished Gentleman's Drive 2025

Ben and Mark from Australian Car Collector are back on the road, dressed to the nines, for the 2025 Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive! Joining a fantastic collection of classic metal, including their trusty Buick Le Sabre and Mercedes-Benz 280E, the boys drive for men's health. The Brisbane event, organised by the dedicated Kip McIntyre, brought out a superb mix of eligible vehicles—from a tiny but mighty Mini LS and an elegant Mercedes-Benz 180D to delightful MG TC. & TD We also catch up with Brisbane's top fundraiser, Andrew Mamo, to celebrate his amazing contribution.
