It has been such a privilege working with Gavin and Erin from Carrdoon Gentics.
What started as a small website update turned into a complete rebrand and website overhaul!

With an updated font and colour scheme this logo certainly catches the eye.
We maintained the dog graphic from their previous logo with some minor refinements ensuring their logo is still recognisable to existing customers.

What even is a logo refresh you may ask?
Itโ€™s a redesign of your logo and branding. It is a change of colours, elements or could be a complete redesign.

๐Œ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐จ ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง:
The business at the time was mainly focused on hand drawings and custom illustrations.
The logo reflects that focus.
But does it give a professional impression? Maybe not.
To be honest with you, I had so many people ask what N P stands for? Once you see it you canโ€™t unsee it!๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

It was time for an update!

๐‹๐จ๐ ๐จ ๐ซ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก #๐Ÿ
The business took an unexpected turn and I began freelance working for a company on the coast.
With that focus in mind, my logo took on a more corporate feel.
A bit more sleek and edgy, but I kept some of my personality in there! Have a close look at the right arm of the Mโ€ฆ๐Ÿง thatโ€™s a little apple pen! A little bit of creativity snuck in, that most over look, but I see it!

Life and business took another turn and that corporate feeling logo no longer felt relevant. My customer base became more local, more country and my logo didnโ€™t reflect that.

Here comesโ€ฆ..

๐‹๐จ๐ ๐จ ๐ซ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก #๐Ÿ

It took a long time to find something that felt like ME.
I naturally love happy, bright colours without going over the top.
Blue and orange feel so country to me. Blue sky, orange sunsetโ€ฆ you get the picture.

I often looked back at my original logo and loved the leaves. And of course I loved my little apple pen!
So I incorporated those elements I loved into a whole concept that I love!
Leaves that look clean and purposeful, I use those leaves as part of my branding.
Now look at the pen in the M againโ€ฆ. See something different? You have to zoom riiiiiight inโ€ฆ. See the โ€œscribbleโ€ at the end of the pen? That says โ„ฐ๐“‚๐“‚๐’ถ.
A little touch that generally only I see but it makes it feel so personal!

All these little things come together in a gorgeous logo that I love.
