On ANZAC Day, Wings Public Relations honours the courage and sacrifice of all who have served and are serving in the Australian Defence Force. We are proud to support our Defence community and industry, led by our founder, Deanna, a RAAF Reservist with 31 years of service. Today, we especially acknowledge Deanna’s family members who have served – her husband Patric, a retired RAAF pilot, father Tony, father-in-law Barry, and daughter Isabella, who is studying before becoming a RAAF doctor. Their dedication inspires us all. Lest we forget.

The Wings Public Relations team, led by Deanna Nott, is delighted and humbled to have been shortlisted in two categories – Media Relations Campaign and Corporate Reputation and Management Campaign – for this year’s Communication and Public Relations Australia Golden Target Awards. To have our work in support of the inaugural 2023 Pacific Airshow Gold Coast recognised in this way makes me feel so proud. Sticking to our initial strategy while still remaining flexible and adaptable was key to our team's success with this campaign. Our hand in glove relationship with client Code Four, Pacific Airshow Kevin Elliott, especially the marketing team led by Janah Nuttall and operations team led by Sam Pearce, placed us in a position to meet and exceed goals set for us. Thank you to all Wings members who worked on the 2023 event and in the lead-up especially Marie Howarth, Heather Fletcher Tom Vergotis, Carey Brooking and Kylie Perrett. Absolutely fantastic coverage of the Pacific Airshow Get the HELI to school competition. It’s always so lovely when a deserving family are rewarded. Little Ella, 10, did a fantastic colouring in to win the prize! Excellent work by the airshow’s marketing manager Janah Nuttall, pulling the comp together with GC Heli at Marina Mirage.
