One night in 2017 two little boys, stared at the television as a commercial came on highlighting the plight of children in need. And their mum tried her best to answer their questions as best she could. She reminded them that there are so many children across the country who were not as fortunate as them. We have food on the table. We will wake up on Christmas morning with gifts under the tree. Ot
her children will not. The boys decided they wanted to help. They didn't want children to wake up on Christmas morning without something special to open. They didn't want other kids to be sad. So, they asked their mum if they could give presents to children at Christmas. They asked if they could get as many people as possible to be kind and help them make other children happy. This is The Little Elves Project. We're on a mission to collect as many children's gifts as we can so as many children as possible will have a brighter Christmas. Christmas can be a difficult time for so many vulnerable children so we hope the community can come together and donate a gift so they can enjoy an extra special Christmas. One again we will be supporting the amazing charity, GIVIT, and will be collecting on their behalf. In two years we have collected 9301 gifts and the Little Elves themselves have said they want to take that number over 10,000 - so that's what we'll do. Let's show these children that they are loved and that the community holds them in their hearts this Christmas. Thanks to Parkwood Village - Home of the Gold Coast Titans, we will be holding a massive collection day on Saturday 16th November from 9am to 1pm. There'll be food, fun, entertainment, and lots on for kids. Bring your gift and join in the fun as a thank you, from us to you, on behalf of the children.
