PART 2 of the Paul Mitchell Catch-Up. We catch up exclusively with John and Steph to learn about the EDU tour that was created from the photoshoot with Noogie and the Aus creative team last month. With a spark of genuine - John and Steph decided to not only bring the team together and be mentored by the international artists - but also roll out these looks and styles across Australia.The tour is hitting: - Melb 23 June - Syd 21st of July - Bris 15th of Sept And will have either Charlie, Kate, Lauren and Monica at the actual workshop so you get to learn from the team who created the looks. Mocha On The Road with Loreal Style Colour Trophy Winner for 2024 : Ben Semple

Part of the prize for winning, Ben got to spend 2 days at the Loreal Academy in Melbourne doing 2 new looks which will be showcased on Loreal Access.

He also got some on camera training from the team lead by + got to play with some new products that are coming out later in the year

PLUS - a photoshoot and mentor session with MochaGroups that will be featured across the platforms.

As part of Loreal Style Colour Trophy winners prize for 2024 (that was Perth based hairdresser ) - MochaGroup is heading down to Melbourne to shoot some new trend looks put together by and Jarred has just gotten back from the Mocha On The Road Trip to the USA about 20hrs ago and get to keep the momentum going with this next adventure. You may have been the adventure Mocha went on to find the Loreal Vitamino Color Spectrum range - that was part of this shoot. When we land back in Aus, we are home for 21hrs and then off again to shoot with the 2024 L’Oreal Style Colour Trophy winner In the pre-production meeting, the delightful mentioned that they didn’t have a product in the country yet - but it’s landing really soon .. It was already in the USA - so could I bring some back ..Obviously- Anything for Kat - so the hunt was on.. 6 locations and 7 Ubers + 1 cross country train later It was not as fruitful as one would have hoped BUT it was a nice reminder that as professionals, this industry is dealing with real products that the consumer isn’t trained for. Hairdressers are prescribing specific products because Hairdresser are educated and trained to do so .. MOCHA ON THE ROAD Premiere Expo: Black Pants Edition

With hundreds of exhibitors at this monster event - it was delightful to be able to catch up with Bianca from and chat about the journey.

Being a Gold Coast based business that started over 20 years ago, their journey has taken them to being a big player in the US market - exhibiting at loads of trade shows including this weekend.

Fun Fact - when trying to do this interview just before the exhibition closed, we still had to re-do the takes 4 times because people were still buying up to the very last second.

FYI - solves the problem for hairdressers and beauty therapist with bleach resistant work wear with style.
