That is the product side of my business. The other side is the content, the websites, the marketing, the manufacturing, the promotion, the sales, the product development, the global sales, the licensing of my products into 9 countries. The list is quite long.
Through all of this there are 6 main fundamental parts that I consider when I am introducing a new product. These are the foundations of the business model. These fundamentals and the process I will now share with you.
Before I lay out the 6 fundamentals I need to point out that I currently run my businesses from a home office. I have dozens of sub- contractors around the country that provide many of the technical services I need to produce my range of industrial products including;

Hi, my name is Rob Whittle. I am the CEO/ Founder of Spillrite Vacuums Australia and Spillrite Global & Sellrite Australia.
I have been in business in Australia for the last 15 years, designing and manufacturing my own range of products that sell each week to some of Australia’s largest companies and hundreds of medium and small companies.
My customers are other businesses. My products solve their waste cleanup issues.
My products are technical industrial products
and I am now an expert in this field.
I haven’t been to university. I am basically an entrepreneur that spotted an opening and I needed to learn every aspect of my business and I also needed to learn every part of my product and what the customers wanted and needed. If I didn’t know something I would study the subject or get advice from experts.
I believe that if you have the drive anyone can get to the point that I am now at.

The more I designed and built the more I knew exactly what sort of business I wanted and what sort of business would work for me.
• I needed a business that had a product that everyone else wanted (of course)
• I wanted to make a product that nobody else had
• I wanted to be paid in advance
• I wanted to set the rules
• I wanted to decide whether I offered or refused an account to someone
• I wanted to be able to go for coffee or movie and then process an order the next day
• I wanted a business that was like a pension on steroids
• My designs products that were different to what other companies were selling
• I needed to be unique
• I needed to create a niche within a niche
In short I wanted to be in control and the only way to do that was to make my own product and sell it from my own website and set my own price and conditions. Sell to the end user and bypass the resellers
The opportunity arrived and I almost didn’t realize it at the time.
