What a Smurfing adventure this was for Team Myriad, scanning across the Australian outback and providing technical support in Italy. The crew worked closely with Paramount's VFX team, 3D capturing diverse environments, vehicles and wildlife.

Smurfs - can't wait to see it in July 2025.

Netflix’s Territory has been dominating the charts worldwide since its October release. Team Myriad supported Production with LiDAR, drone and textures: scanning environments, sets, and vehicles.The team also utilized their specialised animal scanning rig to capture one very feisty bull. All assets were processed in-house at Myriad Australia.

A huge congratulations to the team behind “Godzilla: Minus One” for making history by winning Best Visual Effects at the 2024 Academy Awards. Takeshi Yamazaki and his VFX team of 35, made a monumental achievement for the longstanding monster franchise by becoming the first entry in the 70-year-old Godzilla franchise to win an Academy Award.

Myriad Studios is credited for 3D lidar scanning and 3D processing for the next Godzilla movie – “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empired” scheduled for release in Australia on 28th of March 2024. The team loved being part of such a long-standing franchise!

It’s Oscar’s Day! Team Myriad loved working with both Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling for Universal Pictures’ “The Fall Guy”. Emily Blunt is nominated for best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in “Oppenheimer”. Ryan Gosling is nominated for best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in “Barbie”, as well as scoring a nomination for best Original Song “I’m Just Ken”.

We wish these two the best of luck!

Be sure to check out “The Fall Guy” in Australian cinemas April 24th, before the International release on May 3rd.
